Make Music Day is a celebration of music on the summer solstice that is performed by anyone and enjoyed by everyone. This year, June 21, 2026 is on a Sunday AND it's Father's Day! So bring your Dad (or your kids) and play, sing, bang a drum, dance or just listen to what Topanga sounds like when we gather all together to share our music with and for each other. For the community, by the community...c'mon and join us! All profiles need to be in the system by June 15th in order to participate in the venue showcases this year. But that doesn't mean you can't come participate in one of the many acoustic jam circles, drum circles, or the open-electric freestyle jam. This year the theme is BYOI. So Bring Your Own Instrument! And don't just watch other people have all the fun, come to Topanga and join the jam. Remember, it's not BYOB, It's BYOI! Don't worry about bringing beer. You can get whatever you - and your Dad - want at one of our great local restaurants, Endless Color, The Bistro, The Inn of the Seventh Ray or The Topanga General Store! Just bring yourself, maybe your Dad -or kids - and something to make music with.
